In recent years, crystallization has been moving ahead from inorganic materials to organic materials.

- Crystallization of fine particles:Demands are increasing year by year for wet-type production of fine particles using crystallization technology. The main areas having such demands are battery, catalyst, medicine, electronics, cosmetics etc. The methods of producing fine particles are diverse. This group will combine diverse methods with diverse needs and provide technical information of crystallization.
- Continuous crystallization:Establishment of continuous crystallization is a challenge in pharmaceutical circles. In recent years, research groups based on industry-academia collaboration have been launched, and academic meetings are held actively. This group also will plan and implement lecture meetings and seminars recognizing movement in industries.
