Recycling technology subcommittee is a project type group. We have been discussing various issues about the powder technology related to the recycling of a secondary battery and the critical metal. We always bear the following question in mind. What is the best way for the utilization of the recycling technology about resource circulation and energy generation? Also, we are investigating business opportunities and bringing the result of it to people and organizations concerned.
Current level of technology, trend and activities in future
The venous industry, a new environmental field, has been developed since various recycling laws were established in 1990’s. After the drastic surge in resource price was seen in Rare Metal Panic of 2000’s, it was said that development of the recycling technology should be a national strategy. As the result, many recycling industries were built and the new technologies have been developed.
Due to the reduction of waste brought to the final disposal site and the recent stable resource price, the technology development in this field is not considered to be an urgent matter. However, the sustainable years of landfill are limited. At the same time, the steep rise in the resource price is highly possible with the rise/development of the newly industrializing economies.
Therefore, it is vital to determine the direction in the recycling technology and to consider thoroughly how to develop the new recycling industry. We have to collect information for these and discuss how to correlate the recycling field with the powder technology, which are our aims this year.
